Hale Mele Kohola, Our Island Home Away from Home!
While we were living on the east coast, two of our most favorite vacation spots were the Sugarloaf Mountains of Maryland and Ocean City. We have often dreamed of living in a place where mountain and ocean lived side by side. When we came to
Hawai'i we saw that this dream could come true. We enjoy the slower pace of life on the Big Island and come here as often as we can.
We like to have as many comforts of home as possible
when we are on holiday, and we like to think that our guests feel the
same way. We have a private beach a few streets down from our house with
hiking trails along the shoreline dotted with tidal pools. There are restaurants and other sources of entertainment
within a half hour by car from the house.When we look at the sweeping views of the coastline and the beautiful
sunsets and the way the moon shimmers on the water; the schools of
dolphins and pods of whales that swim by - all from the vantage point of
our lanai, we know that we made the correct decision to buy a vacation
rental here. We hope that you will come to think of Hale Mele Kohola as your home away from home, just as we have.
